I typically send out a weekly update on Sundays so everyone knows what to expect for the week ahead. The next couple blog posts/ emails will be more logistical than academic, and I will always include a schedule of upcoming events at the bottom.
Important Information:
- The First Day of School is tomorrow, Monday, August 29th (just in case anyone forgets :-))
- A lot of paperwork went home at Open House. Please try and have it returned to school by Wednesday, August 31st!
- If you did not turn it in already, please make sure students bring in their blue transportation form on MONDAY!
- Finally... if you haven't already subscribed to my blog, please do so at www.educatorakbar.blogspot.com, scroll to the bottom and enter your email address where it says, "Follow by email."

Thursday, September 15th: Back to School Night 6:30 - 8:30
Thursday, September 22nd: BYOT (Bring your own technology) information night
